Scott Kunihiro is Vice President of M&A at Directive, where he leads origination and execution across acquisitions and strategic investments. Over his career he has sourced 45 transactions and helped deploy $1B+ in capital, with a focus on digital marketing, tech-enabled services, and data-driven businesses.
Prior to joining Directive, Scott served on Hawke Media’s corporate development team from 2023 to August 2025, where he helped source 15 acquisitions and tripled the firm’s deal volume in his first year. Earlier, from 2019 to 2022, he held leadership roles in business development and operations at a boutique M&A advisory firm in Los Angeles, sourcing 30 transactions for mid-market private equity funds and strategic buyers. Scott brings a disciplined, data-forward approach to building durable, accretive platform and add-on strategies.
